One of the
largest gatherings of gyroplanes in
the U.S. occurs in the small town of Wauchula
Florida each year, at an event known as Bensen
Days. At the beginning of this month, we stopped
by to get a glimpse of these fascinating
machines. Known for their amazing short field take off
and landing, it was hard to say if it was
more fun to watch them fly or just study their
engines and design on the ground.
You get a
little of both in this 5 minute video clip as we
strolled the grounds. You will recognize many
familiar engines and mechanical components that
are shared from your fixed wing
project.
