Builder Tip #15 from HomebuiltHELP
Dynamic Propeller Balancing for your Homebuilt
Ever wonder what is involved with the process of dynamic propeller balancing? GA aircraft often have this procedure performed as a standard service after installation of a new propeller or as a result of other related engine work.

Since you install your own propeller and engine on your homebuilt aircraft, you too can benefit from this procedure - especially since we use non-certified props that might not possess the same quality control as those required on GA aircraft. The goal of prop balancing is to provide the smoothest running propeller-engine system possible resulting in pilot comfort and longevity of the air frame/engine components.

This video will demonstrate the equipment and the setup required to perform dynamic balancing on a homebuilt aircraft.  This demonstration is also useful for GA aircraft balancing as the procedures and equipment are the same!
How to License your Homebuilt Aircraft
This DVD will walk you through each step to successfully license your experimental amateur homebuilt aircraft. While you can learn this process from reading books and doing your own research, we make it easier, quicker and less stressful by allowing our instructor to explain the steps in an easy to understand format.
